Bryant's Final-Second Shot Beats Bobcats

Kobe Bryant capped off a 32-point effort and a huge fourth quarter with his biggest deuce of the game, a jumper with nine-tenths of a second left that gave the Lakers a 117-116 victory at Charlotte on Saturday. Chucky Atkins also came up big, scoring 26 points and draining 6-of-14 from 3-point range. Los Angeles goes for its third straight win on its six-game road trip Monday in Washington.

The Lakers, The History Channel and Adelphia paid tribute to former Lakers coach Bill Sharman at halftime of the "Hardwood Classics Night" game between the Lakers and Dallas on March 4.

Lakers Add Rambis, Shaw to Staff

Kurt Rambis and Brian Shaw have been added to the coaching staff and will serve as assistant coaches to Frank Hamblen for the remainder of the season it was announced Thursday by Lakers General Manager Mitch Kupchak. No other changes to the coaching staff are expected at this time.

NBA Establishes Revised Arena Guidelines

The National Basketball Association today issued to all teams a revised set of Arena Guidelines, according to NBA Deputy Commissioner and COO Russ Granik. The Guidelines include policies dealing with the deployment of security personnel, alcohol sales and a new Fan Code of Conduct.
